The treatment process
The course of orthodontic treatment for adults is generally very similar to that for children and adolescents:
- The first consultation appointment. At your first appointment, your Smile Clinique orthodontist will examine your mouth and suggest the treatment plan best suited to your case. - Drawing up a treatment plan. Following your first appointment, your Smile Clinique orthodontist will present you with your detailed treatment plan.
- Wearing braces or aligners until the end of treatment. At the beginning of your treatment, your Smile Clinique orthodontist will place your fixed appliances (braces) or give you a set of custom-made aligners that you will wear one after the other. Your Smile Clinique orthodontist will then meet with you regularly to monitor the progress of your treatment and adjust your fixed appliance.
